The Greater Boston Coalition for Justice in Bhopal is made up of individuals and members of the Boston Chapter of Association for India’s Development, Alliance for a Democratic and Secular South Asia, the South Asia Center, and local Amnesty Group 133. We are students and professionals. We have members and supporters at Harvard University, Boston College, Boston University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Emerson College.

We are also part of Students for Bhopal and the International Campaign for Justice in Bhopal working in solidarity with the survivors of the Bhopal disaster in their struggle for justice. We use education, grassroots organizing, and non-violent direct action to pressure Dow Chemical and the Indian government to uphold the Bhopalis’ demand for justice and their fundamental human right to live free of chemical poison. We also work directly to improve the condition of Bhopal’s survivors.

Our role is to empower and train youth as leaders in the worldwide movement to end this crime against humanity. We all live in Bhopal and we will not rest without justice in Bhopal!
